Frequently Asked Questions

How can I switch from dry food to wet food.

Do you freely feed them? If you say Yes, here is my experience. There are some reasons why cats don’t want to switch. First, dry foods look nicer than raw food. Second, when you feed them dry foods, they will never be hungry enough to want to transit over raw food. And it also depends on how long you’ve been feeding your cat dry foods. It may take a while for your cat to eat wet food. Try to provide them less before bedtime and remove all the dry food. Then in the morning, try to fill the bowl with enough wet food to see if the cat will eat it. Check it after half an hour. If the cat does not touch it, try to fridge food and return it.

Is this recipe vet-approved?

Yes! We have run it through a vet during a consultation to seek advice.

What's inside the food?

Our food contains ingredients made with Chicken, Beef, Cow Liver, Cow Heart, Egg and lysine and salt to add the taste.
All our RAW Food is pork free, and all meat we use are from Halal Certified suppliers.

How much food do I get per meal?

Depending on your cat’s weight, activity and metabolism, the amount might differ. We tend to start with 50g per meal for most adult cats, 2 times a day first. This amount might be higher for bigger cats.

How will the meal plans help my cat's weight management?

We wish to help your cat portion control and moderate their weight, however, there are many factors that affect this. As such, we check in on a weekly basis and make adjustments to the amount of cat food you get. This comes at no extra cost, so don’t worry!* (Unless your cat is a tiger or some other large cat species, then we would need to come up with a separate pricing model lol ^ ^)

How is the food packed and delivered?

We prepare your cat’s food within two days before it is sent out. During that period, it will be vacuum-packed and frozen. After which, you can put the food in the fridge for defrosting. You do not need to put the food inside the freezer, which means no lengthy defrosting periods or forgetting to thaw and wet countertops! Just open it and plop it into the bowl.

Our cut-off time for the delivery is 4 pm. If you want to purchase, you can inform us before noon, and you will receive your item the next day. Otherwise, if you order after noontime, you will receive your order two days later. So, currently, this is our delivery option.

Will my cat get worms eating raw food?

This is indeed a very valid concern. Cats should go through regular deworming regardless of diet. We recommend going through deworming every 6 months as a precaution.

Is the food fresh?

We prepare your cat’s food within two days before it is sent out. During that period, it will be vacuum-packed and frozen. After which, you can put the food in the fridge for defrosting. You do not need to put the food inside the freezer, which means no lengthy defrosting periods or forgetting to thaw and wet countertops! Just open it and plop it into the bowl.

What are the benefits of switching to raw food?

Our raw food recipe mimics the natural cat diet in the wild. It does not contain fillers or other ingredients that cats are not born to digest. After starting on our meal pack, you can expect to see the following:

  1. Cat poop will be less frequent and less smelly
  2. Cat’s fur coat will improve to become softer and shinier
How is it prepared?

Get one portion pack of 50 grams for your one cat. Before feeding, prepare a bowl and soak the whole pack in water for quick defrosting. You can use tap water. Transfer it to your cat’s bowl, add a tablespoon of your cat’s favourite flavour, mix with a little water to avoid dehydrating the cat, mix well, serve and let the cat enjoy eating! 🙂

I'm not sure if my cat will like the change.

This is a very understandable concern. Cats are indeed creatures of habit and schedule. But don’t worry, we’ve got you covered! Simply get in touch with us – and we’ll be more than happy to advise you on meal pack, cat health and other related matters. We’re here to help!

My cat doesn't seem to be eating the food. What's going on?

There are a few main reasons why a cat might not eat. Many cat owners panic when this happens because this can be a sign of illness. However, many a time, the simpler reason is just that the cat is not hungry. This is why we suggest a 1 meal plan, where your cats are fed at 12-hour intervals. This tends to also be in line with most cat owners’ hectic work schedules. We find that sticking to a schedule like this is a win-win for both cat and cat owners.

If you’re on our trial package, give it a day or two and feed according to our proposal during the consultation.

Do I need to heat up the food?

Technically, no Cold food does not harm the cats, in fact, many cats prefer to eat cold food as the food smells fresher cold than at room temperature, where the smell of the chicken organs can be quite rancid. So far, we have faced no issues with feeding the food fresh out of the fridge.
